While the location wasn't central, the accommodating hosts arranged for convenient tuk-tuk rides.The clean, modern rooms with picturesque vistas were a delight, matched only by the traditional Sri Lankan dinner featuring perfectly fried fish. The option for both Western and local breakfasts catered to diverse tastes. The attentive hosts even prepared traditional breakfast upon request, adding a personal touch to our stay.Though the property is relatively new and well-maintained, the ongoing improvements hinted at future enhancements. The nominal tuk-tuk fare to the city center offered both convenience and savings, while the warm hospitality of the owners made our experience truly memorable.For guests seeking a peaceful retreat with good value, Villa Serene's serene ambiance, helpful hosts, and picturesque surroundings make it a smart choice in Kandy. With various amenities like airport shuttle service, free parking, and Wi-Fi, the balance between cost and luxury is carefully struck here.
